You don't have to put up with the large impersonal corporate owned companies with far away offices. Alamance Oil is locally owned. They provide fast, personal and honest service at a fair price. I recommend this company highly! Five stars!!

Last year I contacted a local propane company 3 times about adding us as a new customer. Weather turned warmer and did not need propane. I contacted the same company 2 times this year and was promised someone would come out. Nothing. So, through our neighborhood site I received a reference to Alamance Oil. BEST move I made. From the initial phone call up until delivery of tank and propane yesterday everything was perfect. Will (who installed our tank) was excellent. Kim has been accommodating and friendly. I would not hesitate going with this company for one second.
Alamance Oil recently helped me switch from a another company with very poor customer service. I was able to speak to an actual person on the phone - seems like a real treat these days, and had switched service within minutes. It was quicker and easier to switch my service to Alamance Oil than to even speak with someone at the other company. The woman I spoke to was courteous, knowledgeable and very professional. I had a new tank delivered and filled within 2 days! Best of all I saved over 0.60/ gallon in propane.
Alamance Oil Company is a lifesaver for us. We needed our Gas Logs checked for the Winter Season. We tried numerous times to reach the Gas Company we were with and had no success. This included long holds on the phone and never reaching a person. After the initial call to Alamance Oil that we wanted to switch to them for gas service, everything progressed like clockwork. Molly was friendly and professional on the phone and scheduled our gas log check.. Our gas logs were checked professionally and with friendly service by Chris the same day. Brian came a few days later and switched our gas tank to their tank. He also was friendly and professional. Thank you all at Alamance Oil so much!
From the time we contacted them about switching from one carrier to them, they could not have been any nicer or more helpful. The ladies in the office have always been just the best any time I have called them and they have provided excellent customer service. The people that deliver the propane, if we get a chance to talk with them, are just as nice and friendly. If I could give more stars, I would. Just the best!
