Wonderful place to go and adopt. Cats are well cared for, amazing staff. Also there is a chunky princess to pet and play with while you are there. Amazing prices on toys for cats and dogs, way better than another pet store

Fantastic shelter for cats! The volunteers there are extremely friendly and helpful and very loving towards the animals. The building is clean and all the animals have great areas to roam and play in. They do a good jobs socializing the cats and caring for any sick animals. It was a no-brainer when I found my cat here that I would take her home!
The cats here were well looked after and once out of quarantine, have a lot of space to roam. We hoped to find a cat that could handle our two young boys. We took home a sweet, wonderful cat thanks to the women we met at SVHS who made the perfect match. We couldn’t be happier.
I applied for a cat a few months ago and never got a call back for the 2 cats i applied for find out months later they used my application for someone else, my sister who i never gave permission to use my application for this reason; I now have a cat that attacks my elder cat and will possibly kill her. Its important to check ID or confirm with the number on the application if its okay to proceed and i DID NOT approve of this i was looking for a specific cat and you kept giving them away and gave us a random cat who does not compliment my charlies personality.
Awesome place with a good cause! We just brought home our new pet and she loves the yard! Thanks Skagit Humane Society!
