Good wine in a great environment. They were very informative about the wine and gave us good pointers. Its so nice to sit among the vines and have a some nibbles. They did a great job with social distancing. The tables were very spaced and sanitized. My only wish is if they have more robust cheese options. Like some local cheese options from antonelli or something like that.

Wonderful experience and great wines. Greg was my wine steward and my wife and I loved him and his knowledge. Also they had two of the cutest cats outside the tasting room and they were much welcomed company.

We had a fabulous tasting this weekend. Jill was friendly and knowledgeable. Wines were very tasty and we all had a great time. We were able to watch the sunset which was simply stunning. Highly recommend.

First, the roads to and around this winery are great, especially during bluebonnet season in the spring. On top of that, the setting is truly delightful. Everything about Perissos is reminiscent of Tuscany. Sometimes, we make up reasons to be in that area for an excuse to stop by and say \hi\ to the incredibly friendly and knowledgeable staff and owners. Several of the staff have been there for as long a we've been visiting, which is about twelve years. It is truly a family business, and it's always a joy to visit. They make everyone feel like a part of their family. With Covid restrictions, my husband and I wanted to have a special Christmas dinner for the two of us. I prepared rack of lamb as our main course. I chose to serve one of their 2015 reds. It was a perfect choice for the meal. From beginning to end, we were delighted with how well the wine accompanied everything. It was a lovely wine when we first tasted it in 2016. This bottle had gotten even lovelier with age and from the aroma to swirl in the glass to the first taste and through to finish it was delightful and very smooth. We’ve traveled to Italy, France, and other European countries, sampling great wines as we went. We’ve visited all along the wine country in California. This vintage is the very best red wine I have ever enjoyed. It is always a delight to visit, taste their new wines and try the new vintages.

If you are looking for a winery that is visually impressive and has wines to match Perissos is a good place to start. Nestled in the central Texas hill country next to Inks lake on beautiful Park Road 4 it is easily accessible and a nice drive from all directions. Not many places make a Montepulciano but Perissos does and they do it well. - Helpful friendly staff - Plenty of seating - Clean Restrooms - Great tasting wine - Meat and cheese boards available We will be back.
