Our experience with Chimney Doctors replacing our chimney cap and installing a new liner was excellent! It was easy to get a detailed quote with the form from an inspection we had done previously, and their customer service was friendly and we never felt pressured. When Ryan and Jordan came to do the work, they were top-notch! They wore masks whenever they were in the house to protect us from Covid. despite having the inside of our chimney dismantled, somehow they managed to keep the house dust free! They were friendly, hard-working and happy to answer any questions we had. We will definitely be using them again for our regular maintenance.

Update In the end they did come out and reattach my cap so all is now good Chimney Doctors swept my chimney replaced the flue and liner in my fireplace for 780.00. In order to replace the flue they needed to take the chimney cap off and drop in the new flue. less than a month after this was done the wind blew the cap off of my chimney. When I contacted them about fixing it they told me sorry the cap is not from us so it's not our problem. The cap has lasted through many storms in the ten years I have owned my home without an issue yet a few weeks after they remove it and re-install it it blows off.
We recently converted our wood burning fireplace to an electric insert. The fireplace is noticeably drafty in the winter allowing cold air in. I called chimney doctors and they got me in quickly for an appointment. Ryan was our repairman. He did a great job and was very knowledgeable, taking pictures of the repairs he made as well as some areas that may need attention in the future. Very satisfied
Excellent business. They do their job thoroughly, professionally, and well. The guys I talked to all really like working for the company and it shows. Tom even mentioned he reads chimney forums in his free time. That's how much he likes his job. The other guy (Jordan) even moved here from Maine to work for Chimney Doctors. They are really nice people too. They had an opening so moved us up a week early. If they were running late they would call and tell us. Each step of the way they explained what they were doing and when possible, showed us pictures. It's nice to have professionals that really enjoy their line of work. And they only have good things to say about the owner.
We had Tom out to clean our chimney and we were very happy. He was prompt, polite, quick and clean. We're also converting our wood burning fireplace to a gas log (doing it ourselves), and he was more than willing answered a few questions I had about that process, even though they weren't doing the work. I would definitely recommend Chimney Doctors!
