We stopped by here while traveling and are grateful we did. They had a marvelous reuben with plenty of meat and sauerkraut (although they offer many more sandwiches). My spouse thoroughly enjoyed a turkey and cheese sandwich as well. We bought baked pies and sweet rolls that were so big, we shared them with the whole family a few hours later. This is a great opportunity to support a local business and be thoroughly satisfied with the food as well.
My wife and I stopped in here, and decided to try their baked goods. We bought a cherry turnover, a cinnamon roll (which was huge), a package of their drop cookies and their butterfinger brownies. Everything was fantastic. We took the brownies to a gathering and they disappeared like they had gold hidden in them. The cookies disappeared almost as fast. The turnover was light and flaky and was just the right amount of tart and sweet that makes you wish you had bought 2 instead of one. The cinnamon roll was also very good. I would definitely recommend stopping in and buying some of their items.
Great eats, friendly staff, 10/10 worth hopping off the highway for a quick visit. The cream cheese cinnamon roll & biscuits & gravy were our favs!
Koehn Bakery consistently produces a range of good baked goods, soups and sandwiches. Additionally, they seem at attract and retain great staff. In my visit today, they had several customers in line before me, so I had to wait a bit. It is worth the wait. In a town with so few dining options, this is probably the one which a person traveling through town should try.
