Button did work for me in a house in the area .I live outside the area so getting work done can be a challenge.They were the only co. to follow through out of 15 or more companies with return phone calls, showing up to do an estimate and scheduling the work. during this time of year its hard to get heating people to do anything due to lots of work. Easily the best heating company around! I've used Button Oil for over a decade, and this company keeps getting better and better. Between the automatic deliveries, the drivers who treat your property with respect, and the friendly staff at the office I have nothing but great things to say. It's everything you'd want out of your heating oil and propane provider. The best part is it's a family owned and operated company for generations - something you don't see very often these days, and definitely not at such a high level of quality service. My family has been using button oil for as long as I can remember. They have amazing pricing I which you are able to lock in rates. I have messaged through Facebook many times for service and they always answer quickly and deliver reliable service. I can’t say enough good things!
Beware, the company is now being run into the ground by the inept grandchildren. When we went with them 3 years ago to replace our oil tanks they had the best price and fastest service with nice courteous people. When the kids took over they fired all of their service personnel except one. We called in August for a furnace cleaning and have yet to hear back from them. After multiple calls they recommended a local plumber who just happened to have been one of those let go and we learned the whole story of the kids running it into the ground while using it as their own personal piggy bank. They changed the way they bill so it went from cash payment discount to progressive discount over 150 gallons. Well, they send a deaf guy out who only gives us 100 gallons, about 250 gallons short. The lady from button calls him to tell him to go back but he can't even hear the phone ringing because he is so deaf. He claims that he can't hear the whistle. We remind them they were the ones who installed the entire new tank system less than three years prior and the lady then tells us we don't do any servicing anymore so we have to get someone else to fix it. The plumber who used to work there comes out and stated that our system is new and working perfectly. A different driver from button comes out and states that he can hear it fine. The next fill is the deaf guy again and fills it only an 1/8th of the way. Do yourself a favor and find another oil company that offers a full service department and will be around for a while, there are many. Button will be run into the ground within a few years
