This is a tight course, with elevation changes. The yardage though I would say is a little off or this golf course is about 2000’ above sea level. I do not hit 300 yard drives consistently but at this course it seems like I am always hitting them. Very fun course for the price, #2 of what I have played in the QC area. Great Thai place not far away either in Port Byron.

We have played a lot of golf courses in Whiteside,Lee,and Bureau counties, but the gem of golf courses is Byron Hills located just outside Port Byron, Illinois. This course is well kept and managed. It by far is one of the most challenging courses in the area. The fairways and greens are in excellent condition, and it makes play more enjoyable. Very highly recommend making the trip to play here.

A very very nice course for play and condition. If your driving by on 80 and have the clubs, stop and catch a round. You will have fun!
