Great coaches, community, and challenges. Calleva has instructors to fit every personality, age, and learning style. I've met many wonderful paddlers through Calleva. I had the opportunity to run 5 rivers this season! Fall training was the best part of 2020.

Calleva’s river school offers beginner, intermediate, and advanced kayak lessons that teach you all the skills you need to know to successfully kayak all types of whitewater. The instructors are the best in the dc area. I’ve never had a bad experience with them, and have been dealing with them for some time.
I’ve taken several trainings and course through Calleva and have enjoyed every single one of them. My paddling has improved immensely and I’ve also met a ton of rad people through them, both students and instructors. If you want to learn to kayak or just get better, this is your place!
Calleva and their instructors are fantastic. I've done the WW zero to hero class, Cheat Lite, UY and Fall training with them. They always offer friendly advice and recommendations regarding kayaks and gear. Can't recommend them enough.
