This is an awesome community, Cadence at Mt Zion. I would not hesitate to place my loved ones in this community. The staff is great and responsive to cares and concerns. You will not be disappointed.

He has been there four days. After giving them the 5,000 I realized all the things I was told were not true. After giving them the first 1,000 nonrefundable, I was emailed a 50 page contract (I must bring copy for me and them) and lengthy Additional Fee List. Then I learned he would get a bath once or twice a week (paralyzed). I refused their pharmacy, but told on the 4th day VA delivered meds had to go to their pharmacy for repackaging (for a fee). I had a cable appointment and nobody answered the door or phone for 40 minutes. When the cable man tried to leave, he was questioned repeatedly and cussed out after finally saying “You see my uniform.” She told him you got the right one this time and cursed him. The staff member later apologized saying she got out of character. Nickel and dime you to death. This is after four days. I will try to get the 3100 for next month back before it turns into 4000.

Poor Management - Too many Employee Clicks - Unprofessional workers - Maintenance is slim to none - Food is not consistent with nutritional values - Under trained staff - medications not given correctly - high staff turnover - unprofessional. Wrong place for our loved one. We have since moved our loved one out of Cadence. Negative Stars. Shame they make you click at least one star.

Thought we found what we were seeking in a long term memory care facility for our love one. Shortly thereafter we were disappointed to find our expectations were not being met. Housekeeping was inadequate, maintenance was slow to respond to plumbing and safety issues, staff inexperienced, meals of very little nutritional value, and residents not being properly supervised or engaged. Management’s response to our concerns were slow and inappropriate.

Awesome place with amazing staff! We just moved my father in on the 1st, and he spoke with my brother about his new home. After their conversation my brother called me and thanked me and my sister for choosing this place. He said dad has not sounded this happy in a long time. It is a great facility. My sister the nurse loves it.
