Very friendly staff, very attentive. They recognize customers who return to visit later. The food is good, served hot, and I've never been dissatisfied with meals, service, or price. Definitely give them a try if you're in the area. This is a Mexican restaurant and expect a Mexican atmosphere. This should be a required stop when visiting Caldwell, or a familiar hangout if living here. FIVE STARS!

Beautiful decor and well set up area. Great customer service from when we walked in until we left. Food was good and hot when served. Loved the chips and salsa!!
One of the best small TexMex restaurants in Texas! The menu is extensive, but all the entrees excel. Bar service is limited, but every drink I've had has been just right. . .no skimping on ingredients or cutting corners behind the bar. Service is attentive, but not obtrusive. Prices for both food and drinks are modest. The decor is definitely TexMex -- hope you're find of orange and bright yellow! -- but clearly a point of pride for the owners. Give this restaurant a try and you'll be back.
Food is AMAZING!!! Service is friendly and speedy. Best chips and salsa and fresh homemade chips in Caldwell! Highly recommend. My new favorite go to Mexican restaurant.
I assume that the reviewers who waited a long time for their order may have been there right after they moved to their new building. That said, this will never be a fast food place. Lo Nuestro is a family restaurant. Their food is home cooked, made from scratch. Their heavenly tortillas are made on site. I was born near the border and this food compares with the Mexican food of my 1960’s childhood. The portions are generous. Try the breakfast omelets - fabulous! There’s always a crowd for breakfast.
