This was not the California Firewood I wanted. There are two: This one with a website, located in Spring Valley which doesn't deliver (you've got to go there yourself in a truck and load the firewood, then take it home), and the other California Firewood with no website. Phone only. Located in Ramona which has delivered generous cords of oak to my home twice at a fair price. Apparently the two businesses named California Firewood in San Diego County is a result of a family schism a few years back.

Picked up wood on 12/18/2020 and they only had Peach wood for 30 a wheel barrel full. The wood is good and burns fairly long (longer than pine). I was expecting the wheel barrels to be bigger. If I had to guess and compare this haul to a 5.50 bundle of pine from Home Depot, I'd say we saved 10 - 15. That quickly adds up though!
Bought a Avocado/Oak mix. They loaded fast and sound. Paid from the truck. Great service. Wood seasoned well and split for domestic use. Solid business, buy here for your fireplace needs.
Fast load and go for firewood. Just wish they had some other varieties of wood for burning. All firewood suppliers depend upon what people are cutting for their product, so there's that
I ordered a cord of wood and was given a deliver window \before 1:00\. Shortly before 1:00 I called to confirm delivery and was told my window was between 1:00-3:00. I waited until 3:50 (mind you I'd been waiting at home all day for the delivery) and called and the lady (with quiet an attitude) told me they were running behind in deliveries and they were on their way. Didn't even apologize. Terrible customer service. Load finally arrived at 4:30. We got peach wood and it burns nicely.
