Problem Resolved I had my David White transit cleaned, maintained and calibrated, Sept. 2018. I didn't use it until July 20,2019. Upon setting it level, the scope moved up and down. One of the set screws that secure the vertical movement was out of adjustment. Cal. Survey & Drafting said I had 90 day warranty. I should have set it up and confirmed that it was working properly, but I didn't. After some discussion, the service manager and I came to a mutual agreement so that the transit will re calibrated. I am happy that a company that I have done business with for years has proven to as good of character as I expected.
First time entering this store today and I was greeted by Sean and what a nice guy and very friendly. I will definitely be back to buy my supplies in the future.
