Calla Karate is an amazing place! It has been so much more than an extra curricular activity. We were welcomed into the Calla Family with open arms! My son is on the spectrum, and he has been challenged physically, accepted socially, encouraged daily and loved beyond measure for who he is. This is a very special place - the kids in his class encourage him, all the way from his fellow white belts, to those training for their black belt. They truly care about each other - and I’m proud that my son is part of this community! They foster a wonderful dynamic, where they encourage the higher ranks to be supportive, and practice certain skills with the lower ranks, giving the higher ranks a sense of pride, while the lower ranks look up to these kids as they set goals to achieve new ranks.

Calla Karate is head and shoulders above the rest! It is not just a school but a family! They get to know each student , teaching them not only martial arts but important lessons about life that helps instill confidence and self discipline . My child has been in their school for over 2 years and it has been amazing to watch her grow , create goals for herself and look forward to going to each class. I highly recommend Calla Karate! There is no other school out there like them!

What a great program! Our son has learned so much, not just in karate, but also in self-confidence and discipline. From Mary and Eddie (the owners) to all the instructors, they have a true compassion and dedication to ensuring their students reach their maximum potential and goals. Our son loves going and constantly learning new skills and techniques. The instructors work great with children of all ages and abilities. The facilities are clean, friendly and great for newcomers. If your looking for a karate program for your child you need not look any further. Highly recommend this program!!!
