I've been going to this store for a decade. The staff has been helpful and friendly. Since COVID, they have stepped up their game. I called ahead the last time for some grain and yeast and they had it all prepped and labeled when I arrived. I also ordered a Brew Bucket and they said it would take a week but they got it to me in just a couple days. If you brew, this is a great spot for supplies.

The person at the desk was nice and knowledgeable. They sell kits for the 5 gallon bucket systems that seem like a common starting point. Looking forward to a new hobby with a great resource in the area.

Had to pick up some last-minute items for my first solo brew... The person working (I think the owner) was super helpful and encouraging and they had everything I needed. Thanks!

Avoid at all costs. Not only are they rude without exception, they know almost nothing about their own products. For my draft line needs, Ezra sent me down to their Weymouth location after laughing off how little he knew about draft systems. I took his word for it, and ended up with a keg that leaked out of both posts. Thankfully I was only using water, because over the first night I had it all 5 gallons leaked out under pressure and I was left with an absolute mess of ceiling tiles in my basement. I'm lucky it wasn't worse... I took the faulty keg back to Cambridge but they wouldn't help me because I bought it in Weymouth. I drove all the way back down there again, where they replaced only half of what was wrong so I just ordered the rest (in bulk) on Amazon so I wouldn't have to go back again. I broke a small valve last night, and wanted to give them another chance today. After getting yelled at for walking in the store while another customer was in there, I waited for 15-20 minutes in the rain for the 30 seconds of in-store time I needed to buy a 6 piece of equipment. They acted like they could have run it out to me instead of waiting, but never offered in the first place after yelling at me so how am I supposed to assume that after how many other bad experiences I've had with them? Overall, this company is awful and it's easier to stock up in bulk on Amazon than deal with their snarky attitudes and bad service in general. There is absolutely nothing good about shopping here. Avoid at all costs.

Friendly and knowledgeable. Convenient location a little bit outside of Davis square. I'll definitely be back!
