Went for a U-Haul pickup that I scheduled at 4:30 on a Friday. Arrived about 15 minutes late (maps said they closed at 5 and I hit traffic) and found that the office was closed up tight with no answer to knocking or phone call. Luckily, I ran into a woman who worked for the owners and she hurriedly assisted with my contract completion as she had to go pick up her kids. I was very grateful that she took the time to help despite be being late. Not getting the vehicle would've thrown a huge speed bump in my moving plans. I was surprised that U-Haul would allow someone to reserve a vehicle right at their closing time, or that they didn't call to check on me picking it up.

Called them with questions about parking and was immediately interrupted, then put on hold for several minutes. I haven't used the service yet but if this is how they treat customers, I am not sure I want to. The woman was also very rude after I finally got to finish my question, as if I was asking for something way out of line.
