Worth stopping in! We checked out the store - lots to chose from for souvenirs. And had Navajo taco (huge) and beef stew, plus fry bread. All were really delicious! Beautiful setting - we ate at the picnic tables in the garden area as the restaurant wasn’t open for dine in yet. Amazing views of the gorge and the historic Tanner bridge.

Cameron Trading Post is a restaurant and shop dedicated to Amerindian people culture. In the store, we saw very beautiful local Amerindian handicrafts, such as kachinas, Navajo rugs, Hopi pottery, and silver and turquoise jewelry!!!. In the restautrant, the food was good and the staff was efficient and professional. A pleasant stop on the Grand Canyon road !!!
Did a quick stop for a shared lunch. We wanted to try the fry bread before we left the area and saw a Navajo taco advertised so stopped in. Taco was definitely enough to feed 2 people. We don't like super spicy stuff and this was great.
We got take out for lunch today and it was fantastic. I highly recommend the food here. Definitely worth a stop.
Get food here! We were recommended this spot by our tour guide at the Antelope canyon, he was not wrong. He suggested we order the Navajo Taco and that would be enough for us, but we also ordered the stew and they were divine! Highly recommend having both. The portions were generous but we ate them all. I wish we had this somewhere in our town too. The walls of the dining area were adorned by Navajo arts and we also took a long stroll in the shop to look at traditional arts.
They have a great setup where you pull up and they take your order in the parking lot. This consideration for the pandemic is admirable. They have a pretty standard selection of food items including a hamburger. Order your Navajo taco, the fry bread is delicious. They were even gracious enough just split it into, with double the fixins! You can drive around to the back, Park your vehicle, and enjoy the view of the canyon at a picnic table. Since we were only stopping for lunch I did not check out the store. It looks as though they were keeping a tight control on the number of people allowed in the store.
We stayed at this off-road American Indian place with a restaurant serving authentic American Indian fare. Our room was excellent with it being very clean, authentic American Indian furniture and decor but modern amenities. Our room had the view of the canyon and the garden. The garden was beautiful. We ate breakfast and dinner at the restaurant. The food here is authentic American Indian fare and delicious. For breakfast we had the veggie omelette, prickly pear French toast and coffee. For dinner we had the Navajo tacos and the hot dog and crispy fried cheese tortilla for the kids. The portions were huge. The only down side was that I requested to substitute chicken for beef in the tacos. The server told me that since the beef was mixed with the beef, she will order the veggie taco and then add chicken. In the final bill I noticed that she had added 3 for the chicken which made the price of the taco 16 while there was barely any chicken in it!! Apart from that the taco was delicious!
Great food and service. A beautiful building and place to stop!
