My husband had to call 911 for me for the first time last Friday. The two men who showed up at my house (Darryl and I didn’t get the other one’s name) were phenomenal. They were friendly, professional and reassuring. They let me know what was happening every step of the way and helped me stay calm in an unsure situation. I can’t thank them enough!!

We have had to call the ambulance five times this week. They got to us in less than 5 min every time. We have never in our lives even called one time ever before this emergency. I did not get the names of the men who showed up today but I will be making sure that I do after our emergency is over to thank them. I have had a hard time getting any answers from the hospital because of Covid and my daughter being a young adult. It’s been a very scary situation for both my child and myself. I could see very clearly that the young man who came to pick her up this time was going to make sure we were helped this time. Because I wasn’t allowed in he was my voice. We are very thankful. Great job Waves.

This place is money grubbing, and complete example of working the system. I am giving one star so I can even leave this review First I am a Camillus Tax Payer, an my tax's go to fund this \volunteer\ organization They billed me 3 times the insurance rate for a ride from right next to WG High School to Community General. Now all of this could be possibly forgiven if not for two things: When we called about the bill the individual on the other end basically told us if we had Medicare it would be a write-off, but because we had actual insurance we are screwed. Secondly and most importantly. In my own home, the EMT told me that if I do not go to the hospital he would call the police and they would make me go. Never having called an ambulance before, and just been through a passing out event, being in front of family and friends, I complied with these complete scam artists. So they ended up getting another 1000 plus what my co-pay and insurance paid them something well over 2200 for checking my BP (which was fine) and giving me a ride to the hospital. The biggest issue I have with all of this is the EMT had the balls in my own house to say he would force me to go for an ambulance ride, and being naive I complied. I have plenty of witnesses to this event. I have since asked police officers about this and they just stare at me with blank stares and shake there head. As far as I am concerned this place its foul and I cannot imagine how many people they scam on a daily basis. I hope you are not one of them.
