I've been a customer for years with very few complaints and stayed loyal even when they were restricting their delivery days. I called last week, ordered a FULL tank, was told they would deliver today, and they never did. I received no courtesy call. Im almost out of fuel and may not make it through the night. They have no after hours delivery, and no one from the company has attempted to reach out to me despite my calling their after hours line twice. In February, i ordered 100 gallons and they delivered twice. They called me and asked if I could pay for the additional delivery, fortunately I was able to, and I authorized the payment right away. I'm very disappointed in the recent diminishment of their customer service.

I’ve always been very happy with Capitol city oil. I like that I can order online and they deliver it quickly and offer a competitive price. They recently caught their own mistake by not delivering as much oil as what I had ordered. To be perfectly honest I may not have caught this mistake and they very honestly called me when they realized what had happened and scheduled promptly to deliver the amount that they forgot. I was blown away by their honesty. I will only use capital city oil in the future and highly recommend it to anyone else!
I have been using Capitol City Oil (Keystone) for 11 years now. They are typically the cheapest oil and they have always taken care of me when in need of service. They won my business when one winter our heat went out and we called them at 6:30am. I explained my wife was pregnant and I had no understanding of our furnace and I had to leave for work. They were at our house around 7:00 and fixed it for 98. That's when I knew I was keeping them. Through the years they have taken care of me. Once they came out and did some work and then something was dripping water. They came out and explained that even though they don't think it was on them they would replace it at no cost to me. They did this without me even asking. They've always arrived when they said they would, completed work quickly and efficiently. They do have this one dude Chad (I think). He's kind of a jerk, but he's very good at what he does, just could use some customer service training. They rest of their staff is awesome, Chad's good too. My best experience was after a pipe burst in my house and cause my boiler to crack. They came out and gave me estimate 1500 under the one the insurance company wrote up. They day of the install they realized they didn't bring the right unit and the correct one was listed at around 800 more. Without any prompting from me they had another person bring the correct unit out and installed it at no additional cost. This company is miles above any other in the area. The issues I hear people have with Shipley I can't understand why they wouldn't at least try these guys.
I have used this firm for years for my home heating oil. They have always been fair and reliable. Sunday through fault of my own I ran out of oil for the first time ever. I placed an online order, and thought my oil would be delivered on Tuesday, from my reading of the website. That error too was mine, and delivery was set for Weds. Sunday and Monday with no heat was uncomfortable but manageable, but Tuesday temps, today, will be very low. 17 low overnight. I called CCO and pleaded for some consideration. Mike tried several avenues unsuccessfully, each time explaining and apologizing that they were slammed full with orders for Tuesday. After trying numerous times to help me, Mike, who was in the office, finally worked out for a driver who would be close to my area to bring me some oil to get me through until Weds. I had already given up hope, and was close to tears after my phone call to him, and had hung up the phone, trying to come up with a plan that would get me some oil from someone. Mike actually pushed harder, and called me back to announce that he would get me some oil. Through his kindness and consideration I will be able to relax that my pipes will not be freezing and my morning, when I rise at 5:30 a.m. to prepare for work, will not be miserable. This young man was the epitome of sincerity and graciousness, and I will not forget his efforts. You have a very loyal customer in me due to his extraordinary tenaciousness.
