Thank you Scout Appliance Repair- Called and the gentleman came the next day. He called to inform he was on his way prior to his arrival. Brought the needed part and fixed the dryer. Dryer runs as it should and is quiet. Excellent Customer service and will use again, also will tell my friends regarding the Great Service, Thank you!
EDIT: I used this service for the second time, and was equally as satisfied. -OP- Called in the morning to schedule a repair, the dryer was fixed that evening for a reasonable price. The gentleman suggested an additional repair, then he investigated further and said it wasn’t needed, saving me 60 I would have readily paid. He also observed all of the recommended distancing/mask/handling practices for COVID, which I appreciate during a home visit.
The technician arrived within the designated time frame for both visits. The 1st time around, he promptly put my Frigidaire stacked washer/dryer back together after I foolishly tried to remove a part to fit it through a doorway and couldn't put back together. For the 2nd visit, he did everything he could to fix my circa 1980s dryer and told me straight up that the cost of parts/labor to fix it wouldn't be worth it. He was professional and polite in all my interactions with him. I would definitely utilize Scout Appliance Repair again if needed for the reasons stated above and the fairly priced services.
