Do NOT waste your time or money. Extremely unprofessional service technician and the amount of labor they wanted to charge for a repair that took virtually no time at all was absolutely outrageous!

RUN AWAY! DO NOT BUY A KENMORE FRIDGE FROM SEARS! We bought a Kenmore refrigerator and in less than six months, it stopped keeping things cold. We had to schedule FIVE different service appointments and have spent HOURS on the phone only to be told we would have to go TWO MONTHS without a working fridge. We asked to get a backup mini fridge in the mean time to keep our food- that was a no. We were offered 20- LAUGHABLE! We have lost HUNDREDS of dollars in food alone not to mention HOURS and paid time off trying to get this thing fixed. By the way.... it is still not fixed and we are not allowed to return it. RUN.

Did a good job Tried to offer service agreement for sale Didn’t wipe off any dust or stuff where he moved washer out or give us a chance to do so before putting it back Saw the floor was once another color but didn’t center washer back on spot so some old floor color now shows Washers are heavy to move !

Our refrigerator stopped cooling in the top half of the freezer and refrigerator sections. Called to schedule service only to find out that it would be 3 weeks out. They have a web site to track service and reschedule when dates become open. However, after rescheduling to improve service by over a week sooner, I got an email notice to call. Then I find out that my new date has been cancelled as the technician is no longer available and my new rescheduled date is even further back than my original. Finally, when the tech arrives, he determines that fan motor needed replaced. The tech ordered the part and said to call when it arrives and someone would be out in a couple of days. The part arrived within two days. Called to schedule it's replacement only to find we had to wait another two weeks. Spoke with the supervisor which only got me lip service about trying to improve the service date. Didn't happen. Finally, when the tech arrives, it took less than 30 minutes to swap out the fan. The fridge was back to normal cooling within 2 hours. Bottom line, the actual tech work was good but the scheduling system sucks. No one should have to be out of service for a whole month or more. It might be better to pay for a Home Warranty service for faster service.

I purchased a Master Protection Agreement which is in force until 9/16/20. It states “We will directly pay on your behalf the cost of parts and services that are needed to maintain the proper operating condition of your covered product INCLUDING REPAIRS NECESSARY DUE TO NORMAL WEAR AND TEAR.” After almost 12 years a drawer track inside the refrigerator broke due to normal wear and tear. When a technician arrived he told me that the repair would not be covered. He said that Sears would claim it was due to abuse. He then sold me a new track for about 10 and stated that if he replaced the broken track I would be billed around 200. I believe that Sears has failed to honor a lawful agreement with me. I must now determine whether to take legal action to require them to fulfill their obligation and pursue damages.
