Camwood is a professionally run barn that has top of the line horse care, and incredible trainers. The staff are always willing to listen to your concerns and take individual interest in your horse and his/her needs. I have trained with both Isadora and Cristi and I cannot say enough good things about both of them. They are both incredibly knowledgeable and encouraging and find genuine joy in seeing their students succeed. Eduardo, the master groom, is an expert in his field and is wonderful at personalizing care for each horse depending on their individual needs and personalities. Despite his extensive knowledge, I have never once felt like an outsider in my mare’s care. He has ALWAYS made sure I’ve felt comfortable with her care and I feel like it’s been a true partnership. Pricing at this barn is extremely competitive with surrounding barns and you have the added bonus of a gorgeous indoor when it is poor weather, extensive turnout (new paddocks are being built right now), a tack room with individual lockers, a lounge and cameras throughout the property for safety and security. Despite the large nature of the facility, it is a close community that works hard to maintain a warm “barn family” feel. I can not recommend them enough!!
There needs to be a 10 star option for this place!! Beautiful facility with ABSOLUTELY amazing staff. They went above and beyond for me and my horse! My mare was stocking up pretty bad from traveling and Eduardo spent a lotttttt of time helping me. He iced her leg and let me walk her in the Arena. He sent me an update that night and wrapped her legs, which I was not expecting! This morning he wrapped them again for me because I don't know-how. It's a very fun atmosphere with Spanish music playing in the barn. It's super clean too! Everyone smiles and says hi! Camille was very sweet and came to talk to me instead of just talking to my parents! It means a lot that she took me seriously. They have Instagram and Facebook so check them out there. Oh, and they take card lol. I can't say enough good things about this place! I really hope whoever is reading this keeps their horse there. You know you had a wonderful experience when you cannot wait to right a review! Thank you so much Camwood Farm, I hope to be back!!
My daughter leases one of Camwoods high performance horses. The trainer Stephanie Hall is an excellent trainer with many years of proven experience as a rider. My daughter has steadily progressed in her riding ability over the past 2 years. She has consistently high finishes on the show circuit winning multiple year end awards with the Middle Tennessee Hunter Jumper Association. She enjoys training there and has had a very positive experience in the time we have been associated with Camwood. The owner Camille Schaefer is very nice and easy to work with. She takes pride in all the accomplishment of the riders that train and show there. She keeps the horses in excellent condition, they are well cared for in and out of the barn.
