It's been difficult since all this covid-19 started cause 95% of the in person meetings were shut down. It was nice to know that Kendall and her team where there to help all of us through this hard time. Thanks to a strong network and alumni meetings and events Ive been sober since June of 2019. Music is very therapeutic for me and I was able to release some stress's of life by playing and singing on Kendell open mic night. I have also participated in jeopardy and countless other alumni events. Kendall and her team have been a tremendous blessing in my life and I don't know if I would still be sober without their support. You all have a special spot in my heart! Thank you so much for helping save my life. Love Lyons!!!

Mountainside was no different, but while I was there something clicked, something changed, it was different this time. My perspective changed, I gained hope, and for once thought that I could really do this if I wanted to. I had nothing to lose.. literally nothing, so I chose to go with it. Since my time at Mountainside my life has been truly unimaginable. If you would have told me back then, that my life would look like it does now, living by the beach, owning a boat, a brand new truck, and having real friends.. I’d laugh in your face. Mountainside is where I got clean, it’s where my journey started, and it was absolutely the place that I needed to be.
