We had a fantastic weekend here. We just needed a quiet getaway and this was the perfect spot. The owners treat you as a member of the family and the food is AMAZING! I would definitely recommend their dinner special! One of the all time best meals I have ever had.

Photographed a wedding party getting ready here. Nice place. Gardens and landscape were not well maintained but the home was very cozy

We had a great stay. Great breakfast. Good ambiance. There were a few minor things, but the inn keepers are wonderful and made you really feel like you can let go and relax.

Place is awsome. Place brings you back in time. It's like a museum.

“Do Nothing”, this became a standing joke between us and Julie and John Sullivan, the inn keepers. They were the friendliest and most accommodating couple we have met at any B&B. We had read reviews and expected a nice place. What we found was an 1810 cobblestone house that, when converted into the inn, lost none of its charm. Inside you will find many areas to “Do Nothing”. You can continue at the same pace outside where the beautiful grounds afford multiple areas of privacy to relax. There are several areas to sit and relax inside along with beautiful grounds with many areas to sit and enjoy the scenery. All this makes for a very relaxing location where you can do nothing. The food at breakfast is outstanding and John takes special care to find the best foods. Breakfast is a treat, not to be missed; the best way to describe it is a buffet for two. The fruit tray shows the care taken, as all the items are the best you can find. We ate dinner all three nights we were there. I would not recommend having dinner that many nights without having John cut back on the quantity at least one night. The dinners are so good and plentiful, seven courses, that to indulge three times in a row is almost too much. What I understand is new to the inn, is Susanne, she is a nice addition as she is very friendly and helpful. She works as the masseuse, best I have encountered and assists John with the cooking. . Take time to talk with the inn keepers, they all have stories to tell that will amuse and stimulate your thoughts. Our time there was great and we made sure to “Do Nothing”. We will make it a habit to return a couple of times a year. I cannot wait for the winter, to return and again enjoy several days of “Do Nothing”, this time by the fires.

Had a wonderful stay here. I'm always skeptical of B&B's, but the owner, John Sullivan, was truly welcoming and helpful without being at all intrusive. The home is gorgeous inside and out with lush landscaping and lovely antiques. We rented the best suite with the fireplace but I'm sure any of the rooms would be pleasing. Made the wise decision to spring for the home cooked dinner, which was sumptuous and delicious. Worth every penny. Breakfast, included, is also amazing with bountiful portions of fresh berries and other fruits, eggs, pancakes, etc. I'm a Four Seasons/Ritz Carlton/Relais &Chateau kind of guy and this met all my expectations and desires. Highly Recommended.
