I'm completely shocked at the comments that I have seen. I don't understand how anyone could have had a bad experience! I've searched long for a cake shop that meets mine and my family's needs! I call this cake shop the "Carlos Bakery" of Michigan lol I have had nothing but a great experience from Canton Cakery. Not only did they do exactly what I wanted, they had to deal with a very picky and particular customer (ME) lol I loved their cake that they did for me and they were very kind and always answered my questions. They made sure to do exactly what I wanted and were always very professional. Their prices are very fair, and their cake quality and taste exceeded my expectations. The design on my cake was very well done and clean. I've recommended canton Cakery to all my friends and I can't wait to order more cakes from them in the future. They were so kind and there's absolutely nothing bad I can say about the owner or the cake!!
Nightmare Cakery!! In August, I bought a Groupon and when I placed the order for a cake for my daughters birthday, Sarah, the owner, called back and stated they were closing the week I needed it. She suggested that I wrap this and freeze it. I decided after finding out the least expensive cake I could get was 90.00, I'd wait until another time to use the Groupon. The owner cancelled my invoice, when I suggested my daughter use it in October for her daughters party, the owner whined and cried that her mother (me) had made her feel "cheap", by ordering the least expensive 90.00 cake. This woman is shameful, unprofessional, petty, whiny &% pathetic owner. Order at your own risk-this owner is flakier than her cakes.
