Situation - my 11 year old wants drums for Christmas. DRUMS. I knew lessons were in order and had nothing but google to point me in the right direction (thank you other reviewers!). Here’s a summary of my experience- - responsiveness - I got a text within 5 minutes of submitting an inquiry, and a phone conversation right after...this is on a Sunday evening. - knowledge - all my questions were answered before we ever talked about lesson costs (which ended up saving me hundreds, just from that conversation) - passionate, personable and professional - all around I have a great feeling about Canton Music Academy. I’ll update once my son has a few lessons under his belt to share his experience with his teacher.

The music teachers at Canton Music Academy are great with the kids. My son enjoys every second of class with his guitar instructor. The teachers are knowledgeable and qualified. everyone there bends over backwards to make the experience complete.

I'm just starting my 3rd session of Music Together at the Grosse Pointe Music Academy in Canton. We have thoroughly enjoyed our experiences! My boys are very shy, so getting them around other kids and involved has taken a lot of creativity. The music together classes are wonderful - playful, energizing - the kids are really able to participate as much or as little as they want. My kids love the listen to the music at home and in the car, and often sing and dance along with the songs. Our teacher is very engaging! For anyone with toddlers or preschoolers, I HIGHLY recommend this program.
