We had a really great getaway and loved the vacation rental we stayed in. Amz was very helpful, organized, and responsive leading up to our stay. However, after we left, we had a 40 charge on our credit card. When I inquired about it, I was told there were two pillows missing from the house (which we did NOT take) and per our agreement, we were responsible. When I said I would dispute the charge, they said if we did, we would incur more fees including collection fees and court costs. So since I did sign the agreement, they're pretty much allowed to charge me for whatever is missing 'according to their housekeeping'. He then proceeded to accuse us of having more people than the maximum allowed at this house. We did call before our trip and told them we would have additional guests (totaling the maximum, not over the maximum), and were told all we had to do was send an email with the names and ages of the additional guests, which I promptly did. This accusation is also per their housekeepers. I understand it's their word against ours on the pillows, so we will just have to eat the charge and move on, but I cannot stand being accused of something we did not do, ESPECIALLY since we made a point to call about the additional guests.

We rented a house on canyon lake. The ac did not work very good could not turn down below 72 or unit freezes up. Ants got into all of our food. After we checked out a raccoon some how opened the door and got in the home. I was charged an additional 500.00 cleaning fee because of this. Turned into a very expensive vacation for us. I would never rent from this company again.
We just had an amazing vacation up in Canyon Lake and stayed at Beautifully Furnished Sunset Point. When looking for a place to stay we ALWAYS book with Gwen and Mike at AMZ GETAWAYS!! The houses we rent are always beautiful, accommodated with anything and everything we need, never have we walked into a dirty house. They always call and check in with you upon arrival to make sure everything is perfect!! Look no where else when needing to book a lake house in Canyon Lake! Everyone is so professional and will bend over backwards to make sure everything is perfect!! Thanks AMZ GETAWAYS!! Bonus . When departing we got to meet the owner of the home. Super nice guy!! Mike & Melissa manage my property. We have regular inspections between guests to ensure good repair and cleanliness. We are given notice for repairs, bookings and improvement suggestions to make our guests more comfortable. AMZ Getaways does a great job of caring for the guests comfort as well as the owner's property. Overall great management company for short term leases. Our guests report an excellent vacation experience.
Great company with employees who give it their very best to provide excellence for a pleasant vacation rental experience . Our home is one they manage as a vacation rental.... we could not be more pleased with the attention to detail that is given before and after every rental! So thankful to be working with AMZ!!!!
