The owner is such a hardworking man. He really took care of us even though we had a large order.
Crawfish are out of season so we had the boiled shrimp. The owner, Todd, was the only worker and he boils the shrimp to order along with corn, potatoes, and sliced sausage. My wife and I are from Louisiana and have been to lots of shrimp boils. Todd did a great job as it equaled some of the best shrimp we have eaten and we left full. The gumbo was standard restaurant style he makes there himself and he adds the shrimp and sausage after you order it so they were fresh. Todd was very friendly but don't go if you want fast service or if you are in a hurry. Just relax and enjoy the visit. It really is an unpretentious hole in the wall establishment known for their \Boilin Pot\ of shrimp and (when in season) crawfish. The outside does actually look like old establishments you might find in Cajun country. We will try to make it back when crawfish season is in full swing.
Tiny, flavorless crawfish not worth peeling. Bring your own beer if you like, people are nice.
Amazing! Great shrimp and the turkey leg was terrific! Highly recommend!!
