Incredible experience! Facility is gorgeous, people are incredibly friendly, and the show was way more than we were expecting. If you’re looking to save a few bucks and book the cheaper seats on the sides of the theater, I recommend choosing seats on the right side of the theater as many canyon related elements can’t be fully viewed from the left side of the amphitheater.

Nice musical covering the history of Texas as a young state. It varies every year so you won't be disappointed to see it several times. The outdoors amphitheater is a beautiful setting with the backdrop being the canyon walls. The play gets better and better with special affects. There is a dinner (optional ) before the play but it's kinda expensive and the BBQ was not the best. Your ticket will get you a reserved seat but there are no bad seats. They do have one intermission but it's still a little long so with that in mind you might want a seat near the top. There is an area up there where you can stand to stretch your legs. They also have a concession stand that serves cold drinks and snacks. After the play the actors will hang around and mingle with the visitors which is nice. Just remember No photography is allowed during the show but you are allowed to take pictures or video when the fireworks start. It's a great show so don't miss it if you're there during the show season (June- mid Aug).

Marvelous, the music, dancing, the fireworks, all marvelous. The canyon is magical at night. I highly recommend the middle section, about a third of the way up. Front row and you will have a neck ache from looking up and you can't take in the whole stage. We came early for the dinner and it was very good. The young waiters wait on you hand and foot. Lovely surroundings, everything is outside. I love Palo Duro Canyon. It was an evening I will never forget.

The Texas Show is very much worth seeing! I went on the hottest night of the summer but a nice breeze makes it fairly comfortable. They had a nice barbeque dinner option before that was casual but satisfying. There are no pictures allowed during the show, so my pictures are limited to the finale where they do allow it. They use horses, amazing props, and impressive special effects with a few wow moments to bring together a romantic comedy that brings historical perspective on the Panhandle of Texas. The production quality is high. The dancing and singing were very well choreographed and performed. They give a touching tribute at the end to veterans.
