Amazing game store. They have everything you could possibly want or need as far as board games, strategy games and card games could go. Perfect for gifts or any game lover. They even have a sale section. I could literally spend hours in here just looking at all the different games! A must see for sure.

What a great shop! I am a firm believer that culture begins top down and Heath and his team always are top notch. Always willing to help, teach or process anything nerdy - that's the place to go. They have been a staple in the gaming community for many years now. Wilmington is lucky to have them.
Awesome place to go to for just about anything. You're able to rent rooms for whatever needs as well. First time going as the search for pokemon cards lead me here. Wasn't dissatisfied or disappointed. I would however advise looking at prices online and comparing them to their asking prices. They had a couple of box sets/cards that seemed to be over valued but they said were the correct price. All of which could be found cheaper online. But they had what we were looking for and they are very friendly.
Let me preface my review by saying I have never been here in person before. I have been searching for a reusable D&D character sheet and I found one on Kickstarter that I really liked. I spent about 3 days searching for anyone who had some in stock. I decided to see if the manufacturer had a list of retailers, which they did. One of them was Cape Fear Games. I reached out and spoke with Daisy who was very polite and pleasant to speak with. I was informed that they did in fact have what I was looking for as well as one of every color. Daisy told me that I would need to order them a special way because they were not listed on their website. This was okay with me because I really wanted these. So she took my information down and said they would be ready to order in the morning. I get off the phone and about 10 minutes later, Daisy calls me back from the store to let me know that they actually have another website that the books I was looking for were listed on. This made life super easy and I ordered them right then and there from my computer. This morning, bright and early, I got an email saying that a shipping label has been created and they were shipped a few hours later. I can't wait to get these reusable character notebooks! If I lived in North Carolina I would definitely stop by regularly for any of my D&D needs. If the rest of the staff is as professional, polite and helpful as Daisy then there is no reason for anything less than a 5 star review. 10/10 from Colorado! Staff are very knowledgable about games and the atmosphere is friendly and inviting. The games are organized and easy to find and the have helpful description of the type of games that are being displayed. I drive an hour just to get here. Best gaming store from Jacksonville to Leland.
This store takes me back to the days when games made up a big part of my childhood. Plus, you get the benefit of a place to eat next door and a dedicated customer base. And the staff is really helpful, I am a loyal customer and fan myself!
Excellent shop that is courteous and clean. Their selection of TTRPG and board games is quit extensive so that it interests players of various ages. This is a nerd and geek paradise that will have you coming back again and again.
Cape Fear Games... EXCELLENT customer service and great inventory. I was let down by another online gaming store and these guys over delivered! The online selection was great and checkout was a breeze. Are you a tabletop guy? Do you like Catan? than these guys know what they are talking about. SO helpful! A service.
