I love this place because my grandpa and His team has put in so much hard work to Keep the railroad rain and the railroad museum. My grandpa had the business after he put everything there even the statue.His business was The bolen repair in makanda Illinois.My grandma showed me photos of what my Grandpa and this team did planning this all out and without the town donations and the state of Illinois Donations to the train and the statute. Sadly My grandpa has passed away and when I grow up, I will start to make the Bolen repair back in business again!I am Hailey of Carbondale Illinois and the railroad museum is a historic site to my hometown, Carbondale.
