Excellent car buying experience! Mark was outstanding, very professional, no hard sell and trustworthy. He went the extra mile and reason I drove to Tuscaloosa from Hoover. Better price and far better customer service! I highly recommend Carlock and will be back when car shopping again.

So, I go into the lot with full intentions on purchasing a beautiful BMW 5 series, but that came to a screeching halt. Firstly, I was insulted when I walked through the door because I was driving a very old car that I just so happens to love! Also, the conversation kept leaning towards my wife signing with me because obviously I don't have good credit, being that I was driving this old car. It wasn't until the salesman found out that my wife was a housewife when he stopped inquiring about her signing on with me. However, we're on the test drive and this suppose professional keeps blasting the radio, talking about irrelevant factors, and making accusations that I can't afford the vehicle. At this point, I still want to purchase the vehicle but my experience isn't going so well. As I tell the salesman about an issue with lag in the first gear, I'm making excuses to not purchase. But on hold Mr. Big Shot, I can't afford the car anyway, that's what I'm thinking to myself. Long story short we make it back to the dealership and I'm bombard with other insults relating to the fact that I'm driving this old car that obviously belongs to my "girlfriend" at this point. In a nutshell, the customer service is horrible and some of the sales team needs adequate training. To Carlock Kia, I manage a dealership for a living, and each individual that steps on my lot is treated with respect, dignity, and as if they have a million dollars in their pocket. With that being said, I'll take my cashier's check back to the bank, and continue to drive my little "bluebird" because you guys don't deserve my money.
Salesman was helpful. Showroom and service area nice. Only problem was financining process took WAY TOO LONG! I worked at a car dealership and it never took us as long to get a vehicle financed either through the bank, credit union or corporate financing as it did them. Also slow payoffs on trade ins so be warned
I purchased a car here and my salesperson Mark Burtman was great. Very professional and made the buying process easy. The manager Larry was very helpful as well. They turned something I was dreading into a pleasant experience. Highly recommend.
I had been looking for a car for a few months, I had been to several car dealerships with the same reply, Sorry, but we can't help you at this time. So I decided to go to Carlock. It was late when we arrived. Kristy and Megan helped me to find the right SUV. All of the employees stayed til 9 pm that night. My family and I are super pleased with our new car. Thank you Kristy and Megan, and Thank you Carlock for helping us.

My favorite place to buy a car. I highly recommend going and meeting with the excellent customer service that the Mazda Kia dealership has to offer. Walking in, I was immediately greeting with a warm handshake and and even warmer cup of coffee. It didn't take but an hour and a half to convince my wife and sign the lease on my brand new Kia Sol. It whips.
