Literally just syrup blended with ice. Save your 6 and get a soda if your doctor said you need more high-fructose corn syrup in your diet. Only reason for the 2-star review is that the staff was super friendly when pumping syrup onto my ice. Attached is a picture of the unrefrigerated syrup station where all the syrups are pumped from.

Great place to get a smoothie or Acai Bowl. The service is great. The Acai Bowls are simple and neat. Chopped fruits granola and choice of toppings. I also tried the Pitaya Bowl, beach city style. It was ok, but I will be back for more of the Acai for sure. They also have the nutritional information in a neat little binder for display. Just ask. Beach city style seems to be the favorite here. On the menu? Foodwise, gourmet pretzels, and some grab and go snacks. Smoothies, they have an exhaustive list from fruits to chocolates. Juiced beverages as well, wheatgrass, carrot, and so on. Great place for your healthy snack or meal replacement. Atmosphere is friendly, very clean with a great beach town vibe. Background music was classic rock for the most part. Prices are very good for the product and service.
We visit Carlsbad every November and stop in at Beach City Smoothies at least 3-4 times during the week. Always great service. Always great smoothies and shots. Love this place! Keep up the good work.

I was surprised to get my smoothie in a styrofoam cup today. Why are you guys using styrofoam? There are many ecological reasons as to why it's not great to use. As a business right next to the ocean I thought you'd be more aware. It's also Banned in San Diego.
Prices are very good for the product and service.
