We were so fortunate to come across this incredible treasure of a school right before the announcement was made that public schools would be going virtual for the 20/21 school year. Carlsbad Christan Academy has provided a wonderful learning environment for our 3 children. They offer a classical learning curriculum in partnership with faith based education. We drive well out of our way to take our children to Carlsbad Christan because they’ve been a haven of normalcy and community during these uncertain times. We will be re-enrolling our children because we’ve seen their faith and confidence expand in boundless measure. Once we experienced what Carlsbad Christan had to offer there is no way that we could ever go back to public school.

I am privileged to witness what a wonderful environment this is for the upcoming generation. We are in difficult times with the pandemic . Everyday after school I am blessed to watch so many little ones just being able to be children and have fun. They are learning. The reason i know this they are always asking me questions . I feel blessed to be there to watch and help them grow
When I was younger, I went to this school. I am now in high school. When I went to this school, it was a very positive place. A strong emphasis was placed on the Christian aspect of the school and every teacher was a wonderful role model. As a result, all of the students were encouraged to be kind and get along. Even though each teacher taught multiple grades, they provided individualized attention to the students. The teachers were able to adapt to the different students' learning styles so that the students would reach their full potential. Based on my experience, English was taught very well. We were given worksheets that described grammar concepts and how to write sentences. The grammar was explained in an easy to understand format. We were taught the parts of speech and we identified them in sentences. We were also shown how to write persuasive essays. In addition, I learned a lot in my math classes. My teacher was good at math and explained difficult concepts in a simple manner. We did practice problems on a whiteboard before we did our homework. If I didn't understand how to do a problem or a specific concept, the teacher explained it to me until I understood his explanation. Also, I liked the extracurricular activities of the school. Starting from a young age, I joined the school's basketball team. Even though I was far from the greatest player, I enjoyed the fun that it brought to my life! I would highly recommend this school!
Carlsbad Christian Academy is doing a fantastic job of in-person education. They are accredited and the teachers do an incredible job of meeting the students where they are. The individualized attention is a real plus. Above all, it is wonderful that everything is taught from a Christ-centered perspective!
Beautiful Saviour School (now CCA) was a wonderful experience for our family. Our son attended K-8 and our daughter K-5, until we decided on home school. The Christian foundation, solid academics and close-knit family feel were exactly what we wanted our children to experience. I wish I could have attended a school like CCA, where all children are loved and encouraged and allowed to learn in a Christian environment. My wife and I were so blessed to participate in Hot Lunch, coaching sports and other volunteer positions. I am happy to share our experience with anyone who might have questions.
