I recently acquired a Joe Bonamassa Firebird 1 reissue of his 1961 Gibson guitar. A great guitar in many ways, but i wasn't crazy about the wrap around bridge. Pam at Pigtail Music set me up with their new light weight aluminum, compensated vintage 50's bridge. LOVE IT! The guitar immediately got louder, bolder with a much more musical clarity from every note. Great fit. Great look. Great sound! I own quite a few guitars, with many different bridges, but if you've ever heard the magic of the simple wrap around bridge, you know how good that can be, and now Pigtail has crafted a compensated version with a special ridge to enhance intonation across all 6 strings.
