Was a nice shop but since Pokémon cards have gotten so popular they raised prices to almost double MSRP, big rip off. Used to be a really nice friendly shop. Guy working there was offended when I called em out for scribbling out the price to raise it since I was there 2 weeks ago. Really unfortunate considering they get DISCOUNTS from the wholesale vendors so no reason to rip off loyal customers except greed. Find somewhere else unless you want to pay 6.99 for a single VIV booster or 35 for a V box (was 25 two weeks ago) I just got 1 at target for 19.99 the MSRP. I’ll find a shop that cares about the players and collectors more than quick cash.

One of Sacramento’s established comics and games stores. They’ve been open for over 25 years and continue to offer all the new and old collectibles you may need. Pre-pandemic they were offering weekly tournaments and social events for Magic: the Gathering, Pokémon, Yu-Gi-Oh!, Dragon Ball Super, and plenty of other games, but their play space is closed off for the time being. When it comes to new products, if they don’t carry what you need in store, they can almost certainly order it for you and have it delivered quickly. If older products are your thing, they also carry an extensive back catalog of comics and shelves of vintage trading cards, and just like with the new products, if there’s something particular you need, regardless of age or rarity, they can almost certainly find it for you. The staff is knowledgeable and happy to assist with deck building for games or answering questions about the latest trade paperbacks. When events are being held again, be sure to get there early as parking is limited, but otherwise feel confident about your visit at any time of day!

Awsome place I am constantly looking for someplace like this in Redding if you visited Sacramento and went here you could be thinking hmm I wonder if there is some were like this were I live if so you should try Average Apes Comics and Games.
