Highly disappointing. When I travel for work this is one of the places we always go out of our way to visit multiple times. However, our last visit was not good. The Brisket special tasted like days old meat. The cornbread was so dry it just fell apart and was unpleasant to eat. I don’t think we will be back on this trip after the latest experience. Hopefully the quality and freshness return to pre covid levels some day.

I know this place is an old Ashburn institution, and a lot of people love it. I thought it was ok - the pork was a little dry and maybe a bit overcooked. Could be I just don't like this style of BBQ. The sides were much more consistently good, and I like the total meal ok, hence the three star rating.

Best pork BBQ and ribs around! Excellent side items include baked beans, coleslaw, home style green beans and pumpkin cornbread. Rustic atmosphere with original hardwood floors. Reminds me of old Ashburn circa 1970s without the gas pumps in front.

Awesome. Simply awesome Carolina style BBQ. Great atmosphere and helpful, accommodating staff. They offer curbside delivery as well as pick-up with advanced ordering as well. They are well set up to meet guidelines to mitigate Covid19 risk with clearly marked delineations for distancing and mask requirement signs if you go in to order or pick-up. Or you have the freedom of choice to call it in and have it brought to you at your car. Definitely going the extra mile for customers and with amazing BBQ meats and sides to boot!

Basically a budget Mission BBQ; in terms of taste and money. The sandwiches are very small, the mac n cheese is quite disappointing as well as the coleslaw. This isn't too bad for the money you spend, but there are much better options if you are willing to spend 5-10 more.
