We rented kayaks from Mike, and toured Shell Key Preserve on our own. It was a great experience and a really fun and easy way to get in some great nature/exercise, especially if you've only got a long weekend at the beach! Pros: Mike was available at the last minute-- I called the evening before to book the rentals. He carefully planned out when we should go, based on tide tables. He corresponds quickly on email and phone. We were able to pay for everything via PayPal. He brought a large selection of kayaks, and picked the ones best for our size/skill level. He created a little map in the sand to show us how to navigate over to a mangrove trail before heading to Shell Key. The only minor issues we encountered: He ran a little late on Sunday (about 10 minutes), but called ahead to let us know. (And we were late getting back to shore and he patiently waited for us to arrive.) The prices can vary depending on the mileage he has to drive to get to your drop-off point, but he is very clear about it in advance.

Our Nielsen Leadership team had the pleasure of booking Carolina Mike for the scavenger hunt in Safety Harbor. Our team still talks about it today and I get asked by other Nielsen colleagues for Mike's number! We had so much fun and Mike did such a wonderful job! We had a rainy day, which he could not control but for some reason we were in some pocket of no rain! It was amazing! I would recommend Mike for any team building event!

Been on the "Sangria Sunset" kayak trip twice with group of friends & we had a blast both times! Mike & MJ are great guides, very friendly & helpful as well. This would be an awesome team building activity for a company outing or even couples night out. Highly Recommended!

Carolina Mike outfitted us for a great overnight trip from Tarpon Springs to Anclote Key. The kayaks were in good shape and he was extremely helpful as we were planning the trip. Would definitely go again.
