We saw a great show here. Precautions were practiced for covid and the audience had plenty of space between them. It was so nice to see a concert in a beautiful space while still being careful.

How can you not love front row seats? The center is spectacularly beautiful. The will call section was very easy to navigate. The little bar was reasonably priced and have a good selection. And I don't think there was a bad seat in the house but again, I was in the front row lol
I attended the Virginia All State Orchestra and Chorus concert yesterday and had an absolutely magical time. I have not seen a performance in this theatre since the late 90s when I had the privilege to see “Orfeo ed Euridice” with my music theory class and the music superintendent of Hanover County Public Schools. The theatre has undergone many renovations since that day, but it is just as magical as it was back then. The sound in this space was phenomenal, so kudos to the individual or team of Acoustic Engineers that worked on the interior space. I sat in multiple places throughout the various performances and never found a dull spot for the sound. I highly encourage you to support any artist of your choice and enjoy a performance here. With so many wonderful local restaurants within walking distance (including two from the brilliant Jason Alley) there is no downside to a family outing downtown to take in a show!!
