An absolutely fabulous experience for a total Georgetown townhouse renovation. The work his team does is top notch, the work was completed on time, his pricing was accurate, and communication was excellent. I was able to track the project from several states away, get my questions answered promptly, and always felt like he was being fair. What I really appreciate is his knowledge of Georgetown homes in particular. It takes a special talent to refresh a historical property in Georgetown and he was able to completely update our home while maintaining its historical exterior. I would highly recommend working with Carpenters of Georgetown on any renovation project that you have.

We bought a house that Carpenters of Georgetown flipped. Just a week after we moved in, the basement was flooded (pictures attached). We contacted Nash on the phone and email many times, and he finally replied with a short: I will be in touch shortly. That gave us hope that he would actually do something to help us repair their terrible job. He never got in touch again, I guess we have called him more than 50 times and at least the same amount of emails, you can imagine the frustration generated by this person and his company after making the biggest investment of our life. For what I see, I not only think he is not a great developer, but he is also a coward that runs away from problems. In fact, we talked to him before buying the house and he said things like: I wouldnt sell a house that is not safe or Its not necessary to get a home warranty. We trusted him and that was our big mistake. Obviously, I dont recommend them at all, but if you are going to do anything with him, make him provide you a warranty so you wont have to be chasing him (and losing time and patience) the week after he leaves. We have already spent a good amount of money fixing the basement (and many more things) and we just have the option of suing him, something that we didnt want. I guess by doing this we will finally get a response from him...

Amazing service from this medium sized residential design build company. Nash and his crew knocked it out of the park with our Cleveland Park renovation. Custom cabinets, designer quartz, a basement renovation which included excavating our basement down to 8 feet and finishing it off with a full bath and a living area. These guys were fast. They worked Monday - Saturday 7-430 and just got the job done. We don’t usually write reviews but felt it necessary to let the world know how happy we are with this company. .

Terrific company. Checked out his some of his 5 star ratings and was super impressed. I would give them 6 starts if I could. Nash helped us find a place in dc and renovated it for us. He was hands on the entire time and he made it easy for us to complete this project on time and on budget. 3 new bathrooms, kitchen, painting and floors. They worked Monday - Saturday and was done in 6 weeks.

Small family owned company with the most amazing workers. Communication was easy and execution was even better. They navigated the crazy DCRA permitting process with their architect. We were kept in the loop the entire time. They completed a kitchen and basement remodel in our home in Georgetown within 10 weeks. They showed up everyday and cleaned up after they were done. They were priced in the middle based on our other estimate and we couldn’t be happier with the results. Cost of our project was north of 150,000. :-)
