It was FCFS. Arrived at 9:45am Talked to a driver in front of me waiting said he'd been there since 7:00am and they haven't started loading the driver that was in front of him yet. They didn't start loading the truck, that had been waiting before the driver that got there at 7:00am, until 10:30am. Once they actually started working it went at a good pace 3 trucks in front of me and at 12:00 I was on the dock. They loaded me up in about 40 minutes. Now I had spent a total of 3 hours there and should get an hour of detention. I go to sign the BOL and they whited out my check in time and put 12:00. I asked them about it. He said his boss told him to change it. And gave me some story about the load was supposed to pick up later and it wasn't ready. My rate confirmation clearly says 8:00 to 16:00 FCFS. Conclusion this place will make you wait.once you come in you can't get out. It's one way around. And they will change your check in time so they won't have to pay detention. VERY SHADY. if you get a load that delivers or picks up here. Tell your dispatcher to find you a different one. My advice to this company is if you don't want to pay detention to drivers get them in and out in a reasonable time. Not by lying and changing times on the check in sheet. Dishonesty is bad business.
Worst place to get unloaded. 3 hours and I'm the only truck here. I thought obvious meth heads moved faster.
