My rating is based merely on our daily experience and not on management. The apartment itself is nice and maintenance has been responsive to repairs/replacements. But our neighbors.... We expect and can live with the stereotypical noisy neighbors, but our neighbors above us constantly throw trash down outside our apartment and onto our patio. They’ll be vacuuming at like 2 in the morning. Strange. The neighbors next door smoke weed seemingly 24/7. Since the smell seeps into our apartment, it’s unbearable. We can’t enjoy being in our living room and we regularly have to leave the place to breathe. We just go drive around for hours to take a break from it. (Not a lot of places to go due to COVID.) Our clothes smell like pot, and I’m afraid we may have to get all new clothes when our lease is up. Our lease is up soon and we look forward to escaping these neighbors.

It is not luxury living. Everything is the cheapest possible stuff. Our dish washer wouldn’t ever wash dishes, and maintenance told me dishwashers are not made to wash dishes, just sanitize. We had a problem with constant mold on our windows, and we were told that it is the Virginia climate. Really it’s the cheap windows. There were puddles on the window seal almost every morning. We had mold on 2 pieces of furniture when we moved out. It was always humid in the apartment. Our water bills ranged from 175-250 A MONTH. No one could ever give me an answer as to why it was so high. The complex manages the water bill, so they can charge you whatever they want. I spoke with the water company, and they thought our bills were WAY too high. Maintenance is a joke. We had water pour through the light above our shower 3 times before they actually did something about it. They got onto us for not contacting them earlier (which we did all 3 times). The office staff forgets to put in work orders and misplaced my move out paper work. When we moved in, they forgot to clean our apartment, so it was filthy! They did give us some money back for that. Make sure you mark every problem on your move in sheet. Our carpet had spots on it, but we were charged for them when we moved out. The “free” internet doesn’t work very well. The pros are that it is a nice area, and we felt safe.

Eagle harbor is a great community to live in! This is my third time living here on three separate occasions and each time it gets better and better. The office staff and maintenance people are great! Josh is usually the one who comes to fix any issues I have and he makes sure it is done properly and promptly. I have absolutely no complaints.

Eagle harbor’s maintenance team has always provided excellent customer service. For example, today, Mr George came in to complete a repair. When he entered he was polite, he completed the repair and asked me to come look at it to make sure I was pleased, I was. He continued to assist. When he was leaving, he was still courteous. Now that’s customer service!

Great place to live. Office staff is great and maintenance workers are very helpful. George & Josh were especially helpful and made sure our concerns were addressed!
