I have been in this school ever since this building opened, and i do say, it has greatly improved. This school went through a lot in order to come to a more stable state but it has gotten there. The principal is very enduring and productive and teachers/admins focus on helping us reach academic success (With the exception of some classes) . Once you get past the need for uniforms you can grow to like the school (the lack of sports may also be a game changer).

I personally go to Harmony Science Academy- Carrollton. In fact, I am graduating this year. And yes, for the past 6 years, every person I tell where I go to school has either never heard of it or has some bad comment to make about it. But, apart from the negative comments, I believe Harmony is not given enough credit, because the ones that make the comments are ones who have either not attended it or have attended it, but with the wrong intentions. Harmony is dedicated to prepare students for college. So, if your education is highly important to you and you are willing to put in the effort towards it, Harmony is for you. Harmony has given me experiences and opportunities that no other public school ever could. With College prep programs, Dual Credit opportunities and a small graduating class, you will graduate ready to go straight into a four year University. Lastly, even though, the uniform may not be the most aesthetically pleasing, it allows us to engage not in our appearance, but in our education itself.

I had just recently entered the school and from the new student perspective I would agree that this is a very solid school. I enjoy how it focuses on academics and although the sports is undermined in the school it can be justified for how recently the school has opened. Over the years the amount the school has evolved is extraordinary. Surprisingly, the school has expanded into 2 buildings, all this in a span of 5 years almost. Needless to say this is definitely one of the best high schools available in Carrollton and Texas. Proven by the awards recently achieved by the school. More students that come will show greater support for the school and will become greater and greater.

Although this school may not focus as much in sports, it has come a long way since being opened almost 7 years ago. The uniform makes it easier to get ready in the morning and focus during school. Harmony is an academic centered school, that will help you experience and prepare for college. Needless to say this school promotes high academic success.
