I was hesitant because of the reviews, but I went anyway and had a great experience! I did not experience what the other reviewers did; I received respect, laughter, and good advice/lessons. I called for a Glock 43 (I called like all of dallas) and SPS had one available. Sam answered and he was polite and I asked him to hold it for me. I called back two more times to confirm a few things and he answered right away and was kind. I arrived at SPS and I was greeted by Larry and he was very helpful and truthful. He said someone else called about the 43, but he said it was already on hold for someone. He said he takes people at their word and I think that's a rare commodity these days with many people being flakey. He told some enjoyable stories and we shared some laughs with a long time customer Keith. Larry said he wants to earn my business and that he has. He gave me some tips on what to look for when buying guns that was very helpful. I will definitely be back!

I’m honestly a bit shocked by a lot of these bad reviews because my own personal experience was great! Super friendly owner (Larry) and employee’s who know what they are doing. Walking into the shop to buy my first handgun (Slim pickings at the moment thanks to COVID) but still found one I liked and never felt pressured to spend more on anything... they were helpful and knowledgeable and friendly. Before leaving I asked Larry (Owner) about 6.5 Creedmoor rifles (Intended as a quick question) and we ended up having a really good long discussion... Because of that and many other little things it just felt like I had been a long time regular customer and friend.

Overcharged for a 9mm pistol ! The going rate was around 500 and the owner charged me 600. Never go back again !

Crooks. I waited four months for my gun to be repaired only to have to come and get while still broken and pay them money to pick it up. Every time I called they said nothing except it's still in queue with no timeline. Don't come here for repairs or you'll regret it. Update: I went elsewhere and they fixed the gun on the spot in 10 minutes and didn't even charge me. What a world of difference.
