Had high hopes for Sylvan, but we are out 400 dollars with no tutoring and no refund. We were charged without signing paperwork, then when we did sign up we showed up for tutoring at the Carrollton location and no one was there. Weeks of phone calls and we couldn't get ahold of anyone. We had to cancel our credit card to not get charged, and finally corporate let us out of our contract when they heard our story. New person at corporate won't refund our orginally paid money to sign up. The negative reviews we found after our experience have magically disappeared on here! And now it looks like the person that signed us up is putting positive reviews to make the ratings go up! How crazy is this place? Very disappointed! Sylvan, we rightfully are owed back our 400!

I went to Sylvan for math and it was the best thing my family did for me! I am thriving now with entering as a freshman at UT-Dallas. It was very affordable for my family in not only being one of the cheapest options around but the best. I will always be an advocate for what their program and teachers did for me in truly caring and helping me get to where I needed to be.
