The Carrot Patch is a wonderful program! The teaching staff understands the importance of play in early childhood education. They create a nurturing and compassionate environment while supporting each child's social, emotional, cognitive and physical development. I can't say enough positive things about their strong beliefs and expertise with the outdoor classroom. The children are given many creative opportunities to explore nature and the world around them.

This place has a great pre-school program. They are attentive, organized, and caring. I feel safe and leave with no stress when I drop my child there for school. The staff are professional, educated, and knowledgeable. I appreciate the smaller in class setting and how they work together. I would definitely recommend this place.

Our experience at Carrot Patch has been amazing!!! I have two children enrolled at the school for a little over a year now. We have moved a bit over the years and have experience with 4 different day cares. This one by far is the MOST impressive. I wish my older, school age son had the chance to go here! The caring staff provides a thoughtful curriculum that is the perfect balance of emotional, physical and cognitve activities. They have engaging centers, reading, yoga, singing, arts and crafts and lots of outside play and exploration time. My boys come home exhausted and well loved!

My daughter started at the Carrot Patch when she was nine months old and is now part of the preschool program. Over the years, I’ve come to know many of the teachers, and I can’t say enough good things about them. They’re kind, compassionate, and interested in helping all of their students discover and learn new things. I value Suzanne and Nicole’s vision for the school which includes a strong outdoor component and child-led learning. My daughter loves being outside more than just about anything, and I’m so glad that her school environment helps foster her curiosity and love of the outdoors. Nearly every day she wakes up and says hopefully, “Today's a school day?” I can’t think of a better way to illustrate how pleased we are with the Carrot Patch!
