They need to improve their system to pull permits online is really complicated. The lady she work there, her name is Michelle she is really nice and trying to do her best, but is imposible she can't do all the work by her self. Thank you so much Michelle for all your help.

I came in here to get help with a permit, they were able to help me in s timely manner, the lady that help me was named Barbara, I also got help from Michelle, both are polite and professional. I read the other reviews and I have to say to everyone that comes here There are signs clearly posted next to the sign in sheet that the cut off time for planning is 12mand that after 12 you a required to make an appointment. Some people get confused as there are 2 separate planning counters , one is for planning and zoning clearance the other is for structural plan check. make sure you you know which one you should be at. When I was coming out I noticed this cool time capsule thing, see picture

The Receptionist is very rude. Didnt give me a chance to speak or explain anything just transferred me to a voice mail i didn't know who i was leaving a msg too .... A receptionist should be the face of of the place u r working for and speaks professional and has a respectful tone. he city of carson should do something about this lady please hire educated people and or people who have manners at least.
