A Carson City must see! Gary should change his name to Guru because he really is "enlightened" with his knowledge of Military history and items. Expert and honest! Something for everybody in his shop, books, uniforms, field gear. and things you won't see in other shops. Buy, sell, trades.

We enjoyed our visit to the Westwall Militaria. This store has all sorts of military items for sale. Most of the inventory appears to be from World War 2 to the present, but there are precious, interesting, and curious items going back further. Go in and and spend minutes or hours looking at uniforms, books, medals, personal equipment, materiel, weapons, and much more. If it has anything to do with warfare, and you can carry it, you'll likely find it here. The business owner, Gary Cain, is a walking book of military information, history, and politics. My family enjoyed the conversation with him as much as we did his extensive inventory. If he doesn't have an answer to your questions, I have no doubt he'll have the answer before you leave his store!

This place is amazing! It is jam packed with everything from Civil War to World War II to Vietnam. Uniforms, helmets, medals, field gear, even buttons. It's hard to believe that people really collect this stuff, but my husband loves it. There is a lot of history here, so browsing was even interesting for a non-militaria collector like me.
