Came by this afternoon hoping to buy some beans. A gentleman came out and told us they were closed due to a private meeting but gave us several bags of beans for free (we didn't ask!) for the inconvenience. We love their coffee, & will certainly be back to purchase more of that sweet life giving nectar of the gods.

Attended a private event here this past Saturday and I have to say what an amazing experience! First off, what really made it so fantastic was the encyclopedic knowledge and passion Joel has for coffee and with Mike, imparting that through an educational and hands-on experience! Getting a proper coffee-cation was amazing! I thought I was a coffee snob, but understanding the history, science, and biology of the coffee world has converted me from a coffee snob to a coffee LOVER! Doing a full tasting of bad, defective, commercial, and good coffee along with seeing how the beans are actually roastes and then tasting the different stages of roasting was just an incredible learning experience! The concept and execution of Casa Brasil from hand painted coffee bags to roast to order beans, this place is a coffee mecca for the novice to the aficionado! I can't wait to go back for the March Up & Down Tour on 3/8/14!
