Expensive. Example: kid's meals are 7.50 (though they do come with a decent amount of food). The ranchero sauce is very good, but the rest of the food wasn't great. Example: The cheese wasn't melted in my enchiladas. They serve beans and salsa with chips as a free appetizer, which is pretty cool. The menu identifies which entrees are gluten free.

Wow is about the best word to sum up this visit. Jesus and the staff here are top notch. The food is great. We had fajitas, chips salsa and guacamole, and wings. A little diverse but still delicious. Topped off with churros and this night was epic. Great ambiance. Outside area is great and staff is great. Thank you for a great night.

If I could give a negative rating i would. We were looking for a small restaurant that could use our support during this pandemic. I found Carlos Miguel’s in castlerock. There was no answer when I called but it does say that you can make reservations online which it said was available to do so. Which I did.. I got an email confirmation confirming my reservation at 630, 12/31/20. We got there around 620 and went in. I was alarmed about the number of people that were waiting inside at the entrance. Not following distancing of any sort. However, we had a reservation so we squeezed through the many people waiting. I was told by a young man, and he was well rehearsed, that they are not taking reservations due to the health department only allowing 25 percent occupancy. This makes no sense as if you have reservations you work around your 25 percent limitation. I explained I have a confirmed reservation, and he repeated the exact same thing two more times. We drove 45 minutes to give this business our support. There was no apology as to their website being incorrect. There was no acknowledgement that in fact i had a confirmed reservation. No effort to try to even help with the situation. He just kept repeating himself. In his defense, this young man looked to be a teenager, however, someone needs to explain when there is a problem, he might want to call a manager. He did not help the situation at all. This restaurant definitely had more than 25 percent occupancy happening, I even commented to him, about his statement. .I am a small business owner, and I am quite aware of the rules that we are all to follow. My husband was furious....we drove a long way, and the lack of customer service was appalling. We left, and will never visit this establishment ever again. Yet, what they did achieve, is to get a terrible review, for their inability to fix a problem that was caused by themselves.

They have complied with requirements to have dine-in service. The restaurant is clean. The food is always good. Andrea is the best server! Drinks are strong. What more can you ask for?

We ordered curbside pickup tonight and our food was so delicious! Everything was exactly as ordered. We were even able to takeout a margarita pitcher! quesadillas, fajitas, and chimichangas were all tasty. Guacamole that comes with the meals was good! We ordered chips and salsa but the salsa was different than I remember having in the restaurant. They may have two kinds, so I wish I specified. Otherwise, very happy!
