Here for the livestock auction. Great fairgrounds and setup. The Douglas County fairs is a great experience! Stop by next year if you can!

This is the most unimpressive county fair I've ever been to. Considering this is one of the wealthiest counties in the state. There were very few rides or carnival games...very small and dusty. The independent booths that you could shop through were cool, but other than that you may as well go to Parker days in the earlier part of the summer...It's easily 3 times the size. Adams County fair is SO MUCH MORE IMPRESSIVE it's organized and packed with cool rides and games and friendly staff. I can't speak on the rodeo portion of the Douglas County fair, but if you're going to entertain the kids with a cool carnival....this isn't it.

Seeing the animals is more impressive than the rides portion. It is surprisingly small for such a large county.
